During a communion service, Dustin Comm, pastor for youth and media at the Calimesa Adventist Church invited the congregation to consider what it would be like to link communion and community. But he didn't ask church members for their thoughts. Instead, he went to the members of the community who live in the neighborhood surrounding the church to hear their thoughts.
In this short video, Comm talks with neighbors (among them members of a motorcycle crew, an elderly lady, and a city council member), with the cameras rolling, to find out first how they perceive the church, and second, how the church ought to go about sharing the love.
