Dreaming God’s Dreams

“Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar” (Acts 27:24, ESV).

When was the last time you reflected on your life dream with God? What is your dream about? Is it aligned with the glorious and always-best will of God? What would you like to see of yourself in the future? Would you like to be a second Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther King, Albert Schweizer, Bernie Sanders, Slavoj Zizek…? What would you like to do for Christ’s kingdom? Does the dream always involve a specific place and some noble revolutionary action? Or, would you dare to dream about “sweeping streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well’”?

What does that mean?

Overcome what?

There can be victory in the proclamation of the gospel. yet as Paul mentioned in IS 6:9 & 10, there is a problem with the reception.

Also, evidently there is a problem with the application.

Most bible teachers imply/state that there will be no victory over sin in this life.

Is the grace & power of God …impotent or is it the warped message of the gospel

All things are possible with God except for getting any humans to stop sinning.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me but He can get me to stop sinning.

And if any reader believes so…you are labeled an outcast LGT heretic.

I quadruple dare any reader to conduct a poll in your SS class to see how many/what % of attenders even read the book of ACTS over the 13 weeks…never mind ever looked at the SS lesson.
About 11 bible verses a day. Could have taken a whole minute out of the such busy schedules of Adventists.

The primary impact of Acts for me were:

Peters Sermon
Stephens mission, testimony, martyrdom, Paul’s Conversion, Peters vision. The beginning of a world mission. What a foundation for a Christian witness.

At Pentecost [Acts 2] Peter quotes Joel 2. Sons and daughters will prophecy.
Young men will see visions.
Old men will dream dreams.
God’s Spirit will rest on males and females alike and will announce coming events.

But what happens when persons have visions of what they would like to accomplish
in the SDA church?
What happens when mature adults have dream of what they would like to see
accomplished by the SDA church?
What will happen in the SDA church when BOTH males AND females alike will be bold and
announce the development and actual Visions and Dreams coming true?

The way events look, many persons of Authority in the SDA church will see that these
Visions and Dreams will have no chance, no opportunity to come true, and the Prophets
proclaim.

Dear Mr. Santrac, Bernie and Slavoj are both socialist or even better deep down, communist.

Better will be some pioneer’s from SDA beginnings.

P.S. Rest and other things from Mr. Santrac, great mind…

I conducted a poll in the SS class I usually attend which numbers 50-100 attendees. This time there were about 55.
According to the show of hands.

About 20%, or less, read through the whole book of Acts.

You want unity in the church which is called out of the world?

Get your leaders & pastors to improve their teaching methods & approaches. Fanaticism still prevails.

MorningStar,

Just noticed that you joined in the last day and welcome to the forum.

Could you elaborate on our point please as it does not really explain what you mean.
