Glendale Adventist Medical Center Will Become Adventist Health Glendale. The latest in a series of name changes for the hospital once called the Glendale Sanitarium, Glendale Adventist Medical Center will become Adventist Health Glendale this summer. The facility in Glendale, California, is part of Adventist Health, which is also undergoing a rebranding; One Adventist Health will be the new identity of the system of 20 hospitals. I was privileged to be on the medical,staff of GLENDALE ADVENTIST MEDICAL,CENTER from 1977-2005— twenty eight years.

The reason for this change seems obscure to me, especially since the term "MEDICAL CENTER " which is being eliminated, has a solid reassuring ring to it.

More particularly when this unnescessary name change requires expensive signage and logo changes.

Yep. When something is working well, change it!
