New Adventist “Prophetess” Claims Dreams and Visions from God

I would like to hear more about the context of the visionary’s life and work. Rather than try to measure her by others and condemn her from comfortable ground, can we seek first to understand who she is, and more importantly, why this is happening today in Puerto Rico?

Its also worth noting that the stream of comments here seems to be rather defensive, placing Ellen White on a pedestal that no other prophet, especially a modern female prophet, could reach. There is something off about that!

Ellen White never had her first vision until after Oct. 22, 1844. Her first vision was in Dec. 1844 so what she believed before then had nothing to do with her being a prophet.

Lyman Abbott: “Christ is sometimes represented as withdrawing from the Church of his day. This is a mistake. Corrupt as it was, he labored in and with it until it expelled him.” page 142 of his “JESUS OF NAZARETH: HIS LIFE AND TEACHINGS; FOUNDED ON THE FOUR GOSPELS, AND ILLUSTRATED BY REFERENCE TO THE MANNERS, CUSTOMS, RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, AND POLITICAL INSTITUTIONS OF HIS TIMES” (1869) vs. Daisy Escalante who “exhorts Adventists to leave the cities and their local churches where there is “too much sin” …”

I don’t have a problem with a new prophetess as long as she stays strictly within the Biblical teachings.

Hmmm, but in this case, what is the need for a prophetess?

What bugs me the most about this “prophetess” issue (in general, in any case) is that it is basically a message that the Bible is not enough for one’s comprehension of the Gospel and the way to salvation by God’s grace.

If the Bible is incomplete in itself, then the people in the past that didn’t have any prophet(ess) had no means to understand the Gospel and the salvation path in full. Why would God did that to them???

It’s is also puzzling that the majority of comments so far are contrasting this “prophetess” to another “prophetes.” How can this make sense? What about comparing her message to what the Bible teaches? Do we really ned someone with a “special message” to understand the path to salvation? I don’t think so!

And what should the Church be concerned with this new prophetess at all if there is absolutely no concern with the infiltration of the of heresy of PERFECTIONISM being pumped into the Church by the LGT movement? And this GC President is doing nothing about it!!! Which tell me that the LGTarians made it to the Presidency and now the heresy is being successfully infiltrated in the ranks, with th help of those satellite ministries like Bachelor’s.

Our Church needs to go back to the BIBLE!!! Sola Scriptura is the only safe way to stay protected against heresies and “prophets” with special messages!!!

I hope she is on some kind of medication - or soon will be. Ellen White did not claim to be a prophet; nor, I believe, did her husband make that claim for her. First and perhaps biggest red flag.

I agree with you brother

Disclaimer: I don’t believe the above mentioned woman is a true prophet by some of the erroneous statements she has made.

Preface: Jesus was called a false prophet by jealous church leadership, as he pointed out truths and their faults were exposed- one by one. Moses did signs and wonders for God in Egypt, then He did the sacrilegious act of hitting that Rick when he wasn’t to do it. He was punished. But, he repented. He’s in heaven right now as a result of his reverence for shod and his meekness. Saul, the anointed prophet and king, did great things for God and then went on a path of disobedience. His pride kept him from humbling himself in true repentance in the end. David, the anointed prophet and king, strayed for a moment from God’s will, lusted, stole, lied and had a man killed in cold blood. He humbly repented and was restored. God always has a messenger in every age. If you think that Ellen White was the only prophet in her time you need to look back in the annals of the churches history, because you are absolutely wrong. William Miller was a prophet and there were others. Did they make mistakes along the way- those of which they were ignorant and those of which they were not- yes.

Body:
God is still speaking through prophets who have dreams and visions. Without a vision the people perish Proverbs 29:18. Joel 2 speaks of Gods people having dreams and visions and hundreds of years later, it was still heralded and proven in the book of Acts, but also in the gospels and all of the way to John the Revelators “Revelation of Jesus Christ. I have met Ernie (and Becky)in person. God has moved my heart to colabor with them before this controversy. He gave me dreams showing that key points Ernie made are consistent with His word, with the exception of the error of discussion in the Candence storyline- which was like an anomaly and so much on the sideline in my mind when encountered. I just couldn’t figure this out because she did not travel with them when they went from state to state sharing the message…Also, before this controversy unfolded, Gid gave me a dark dream of trouble concerning Ernie. I prayed for him and then found the announcement from the Board if Directors… I personally contacted him and gave words of encouragement. He had been rejected by many and made embellishments so he could try to feel better, which we all know is him walking in flesh and not by faith. God has forgiven him, just as David was forgiven. Just as Peter was forgiven and restored to discipleship. So, before you “cast the first stone,” examine yourself. God is finishing His work on the Earth and needs the church, with prophetic zeal, to herald the last warning of the 3 angels messages. If you do this and are walking in Jesus’ light, you are a true prophet (messenger- like John the Baptist…) of God. By the way, Ernie, in his other discourses did not present new light. If we are supporting conferences that are placing funds in the stock market and sit on the sidelines and say nothing, We are in the wrong and are in deep trouble. This behaviir is underway by the GC and subsidiaries. It’s a known fact. One of our church founders, Ellen White, warns against this practice. The GC is not owning up to what the founders taught in this regard, and it’s a major problem. We better work out our own salvation in the fear of the Lord God and trembling in these last perilous days. Watch and Pray!!!

I think the left dont have anything to worry about, they dont even accept the genuine prophetic ministry of EGW let alone this obvious false one.

"the 3.5 years (1260 days) of Daniel and Revelation commenced on Sept 23, 2015 during Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. and will come to an end in 2019…"
Right there she has lost credibility…the 1260 “days” have already passed… unless of course your a follower of hers or a follower of deniers of Adventist theology like spectrum…
