It has been a particularly busy time in the Spectrum Website's public comment section recently, and with the increase in activity comes the need to remind all users of Spectrum's commenting policy:
Make sure your comments are germane to the topic; be concise in your reply; demonstrate respect for people and ideas whether you agree or disagree with them; and limit yourself to one comment per article, unless the author of the article directly engages you in further conversation. Comments that meet these criteria are welcome on the Spectrum Website. Comments that fail to meet these criteria will be removed.
Repeated failure to comply with Spectrum's commenting policy may result in the temporary suspension of accounts found to be in violation of the terms.
Those who would like to extend the conversations from the public comment section may request admission to the Lounge, a private commenting area with unlimited commenting for those who prefer ongoing back-and-forth. To request admission, please send a message on this platform to @JaredWright or @webEd. Requests for admission into the Lounge will be handled as quickly as possible.
Thanks, all, for consideration, and for participation in the Spectrum Website comment section.
