I’m beginning to believe there are a number of “holy spirits” exactly equaling the number of interpreters. Does this even make any sense? More importantly, what does this tell us?

I suggest that Kim @cincerity, you and I volunteer to be interviewed by all those inquisition teams, one at the time. Between the three of us, with our varied clinical skills, we can “take care” of those poor, weak souls on the spot. Kim can even hypnotize them and leave them in the trance while we leave, so they won’t even know what happened that they suddenly are behaving and thinking normally!!! They will be in awe!!!

Do you have the keys to the building? It would be a challenge to interview all our GC officers to get an understanding of their thought process and what life experiences they underwent to make them who they are.

There might be a spirit ( aka devilish agent ) who are guiding these people, and who might make its presence felt, as a sign of god’s approval. How many people have made bad and terrible decisions because they listened to a " voice from heaven". Maybe a Tikoloshe has been active with some members, one never knows.

In my opinion, I always thought that to correct an an issue/s, one would address issues highlighted , and not create " The Schutzstaffel", to only focus on something which is not biblical. If there are 80 percentage of institutions in non compliance of GC policies, then one first addresses that, get one’s house in order. But there was no clarification to how these institutions were in non compliance and what regulatory mechanisms are in places to correct said institutions. Even though the name of the church is registered in English, it is not in many other languages, also the way it is present in certain languages could imply that a split church could still use the the same name. Now considering, that in one country, each conference and union, is no more listed as conference or union, but as independent ministries by the government and the government is not pleased that money leaves the country. There is just not enough information to really grasp what is non compliance when it is never explained in context of each institution. I think, if there is financial non compliance, the report it to the local authority to investigate it. That will sort out the issues, and resolve the matter.
Oops, that might be embarrassing, still waiting for the SID report!!
P.S. The Schutzstaffel were commonly know as the SS, and in the SDA family that should never exist.

The primal sticky Wicket is the prevail view of the human nature of Christ. In order to get to a perfect final generation the church had to define the human nature of Jesus as the fallen nature of Adam. The initial Brinsmead position was at the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary the soul temple would also be cleansed. The Biblical position is that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and thus was sinless from conception as one new man. The one hundred and forty four thousand is not explicitly defined. One senior theologian conjectures that it represents the martyrs of all ages. The issue that confronts use is simple—Who do we say Jesus is. For me His is Creator, Redeemer, and coming King of Kings.

Many years ago I came home from work, i was newly wed, and my partner freak out at me because of what I was wearing. She knew I wore a uniform, but she had never seen my wear it with a raincoat. She looked at me with fear, and ask how can you wear that, it scared her, eventually she got used to it. She told me that the uniform resembled the SS one, and I think that was the intention of who designed it, it was to scare the living daylights out of people, to make them not think but to comply. Our church is not a place were we scare the living daylights of people, but rather were we instill hope and proclaim the restoring power of Jesus Christ.

Ted is a passing problem. The basic defect in Adventism is the nature of Christ and the assumption of a final generation. Dr. Heppenstall in his book the Man Who is God makes it very clear. Dr. Herbert Douglass would have it other. the Church has accepted the Douglass view. That makes for a very arrogant leadership. That and the Third World membership’s world view gives weight to the Wilson nonsense. The tension will come down to a choice between money and membership.

This is an understatement!
The Language of Cricket (1934) defines a sticky wicket as
"when its surface is in a glutinous condition"
In the game of croquet, the phrase “sticky wicket” may refer to a hoop (wicket) that is difficult for a ball to go through because of the narrowness of the opening. This usage is confined to the United States.
We all also know there is no rest for the wicket…no matter the game.
