UPDATE; 7:36 pm PST -- Donors - 15; Total received $5,650
The bargains of Black Friday are history, the clock has ended for Cyber Monday deals. Giving Tuesday has arrived and with it the opportunity for showing gratitude for the communities and organizations that make our lives better.
Here at Spectrum, when we count our blessings, readers are at the top of the list. So as we enter this Giving Tuesday it is with a goal of enlarging our community, and seeing what together we can accomplish.
Today we would like to see at least 30 Spectrummites show their support with a gift, and we hope that at least 10 of those will be first time donors. Last year we had a goal of $5,000. This year we would like to double that. And because it is always more fun to do things with friends, we are looking for three groups of friends to challenge each other in the comment section to make contributions together for independent Adventist news.
What does it mean to you to have a place for conversation where it doesn’t matter what side you are on, your opinion is heard?
How much do you value learning about Adventist news from an independent source?
Reader-supported journalism holds a special place in today’s media landscape. We invite your participation today in the community of committed Adventists readers who have kept the Spectrum of Adventism strong for over forty years.
